Some New Adventures in ART!
Hello everyone!
The Beautiful Bouquets are now posted on the Home Showcase page. A big thumb's up to Mary Gage and James Gage who rose to the challenge and painted their bouquets! Your efforts are appreciated.
I am going to give a little longer for each project as we start winding down this crazy school year. I know the challenges of remote learning can be overwhelming so I don't want anyone stressing about getting an art project done.
Check out the Weekly lesson plan page for the next project.
It's great to see how creative you are all being!
Remember to keep sending me the pics: [email protected]
Stay well and keep creating!!
Sculptors
I dreamed I stood in a studio and watched two sculptors there.
The clay they used was a young child's mind and they fashioned it with care.
One was a teacher, the tools he used were books, music and art.
The other, a parent used a guiding hand and a gentle and loving heart.
Day after day, the teacher toiled with a touch-deft, careful and sure,
While the parent labored by his side and polished and smoothed it pure.
When at last their task was done they were proud of what they had wrought
For the things they had molded into the child could neither be sold nor bought.
Then each agreed that they would have failed if each had to work alone,
For behind the parent stood the school and behind the teacher, the home.
